How do members get scheduled at the provider’s office?

Members can schedule appointments at providers offices by reaching out to our dedicated customer service team. Here’s how it works: When a patient contacts us to schedule an appointment, one of our customer service representatives will coordinate with the provider’s office to set up the appointment. After the appointment is scheduled, our team will then reach out to the patient to provide all necessary appointment details, including the date, time, payment information, and location. This ensures a seamless scheduling process for our members.

When does a member pay for their appointment?

Payment is collected at the time of service by all in-network providers affiliated with Sun Health. The amount due is determined based on the services rendered during the patient’s visit to the provider’s office. Prices are set according to the agreed-upon fee schedule, which outlines the costs associated with specific services. Providers are expected to adhere to this fee schedule when billing patients for their services.
